Writer's picture: SatyaSatya

A Lead is a potential customer who has demonstrated interest in a company's products or services in Salesforce. A Contact is a person who represents a certain company or organisation and is linked to an Account. An Account is a firm or organisation with which a user does or wishes to do business.

A possible sale or revenue-generating event related with a given Account is referred to as an Opportunity. A quote is a document that describes the items/Products or services that a company offers to a potential customer, as well as pricing and other parameters.

In summary, the relationship between these Salesforce objects is as follows:

  1. A Lead is a potential consumer who has expressed an interest in the products or services of a firm.

  2. A Contact is an individual who is affiliated with a specific Account.

  3. An Account symbolises a corporation or organisation with which a user does or wishes to do business.

  4. A possible sale or revenue-generating event associated with a given Account is represented by an Opportunity.

  5. A quote is a document that describes the products or services being offered to a potential customer, as well as pricing and other parameters.

Hope this Helps !
