Configuring Object Storage in BICC- Oracle Fusion

In this Post , I will show you how to configure the OCI Object storage connection in BICC.

This will give the ability to directly write the Extract files in the OCI Object Storage Bucket.


for successful connection you will need below information . This can be collected from OCI Console .

Name : Fusion_Go_Easy_OCI

Host : objectstorage.us-ashburn-1.oraclecloud.com -- Substitute your tenancy region

Tenancy : To get This Login to OCI Console .


Click on your User Tenancy

Copy the OCID

Scroll Down and Copy Name Space :

For User OCID :


Click on the below User name

ree

Copy the User OCID.

For Bucket Name : Navigate to Buckets and Capture the Bucket name .

Capture the Bucket Name

ree

Generate the API Signing Key and Export the Public key .

The Public key gets downloaded to local as shown below.

your .pem file will look like this .

This Key need to be added to the OCI before testing the same


Navigate to Identity > Users > User Details >

Click on API Keys

ree

Select Paste Public Key Radio Button and paste the public key details as shown below.

Once added , it will look some thing like this .

The fingerprint shows here and the one we generates at the BICC level will be the same.

Now go back to the BICC Console and verify if the connection .
